Hi guys, this is my last mail to PGI Support about last event and the game mode problem who prevent me from complete the event.

Quote

Hi, i've tried for the last 2 days and last night (UTC+1) to find and win 1 domination match.
I've found domination only 2 or 3 times and i was unable to finish my event because i've lost everytime the domination match, for the incompetence of a big number of players in IS faction.
I've lost a lot of games because the TIER system don't work (is only an exp bar with no sense) and the players don't learn how to play. They don't NEED to learn with this TIER system.
I'm tired, angry, disappointed and frustated.
Unable to finish an event for only 1 mech, 1 win...i've lose the rewards for nothing after days and hours of games, commitment...
This situation force me to disconnect from a match in the last 30 mins of event, for try to find another game and hope for domination...
And i'm not the only...

If u want to make money and make this game great...it's time to change somethings!
-Open a crowdfunding campain for change the graphic engine;
-Stop create only mechs and start to work on a better gameplay, rework of TIER system for create a learning curve etc...

What i have to do now? After spend my time in this event? Stay calm and quiet? Don't say nothing?
Yes, it's a game, but how i can play and have fun with this problematic client and this management of the game?

I've start thinking about leave this game, stop buy content and w8 for MW5 and the title license deadline...

Now, it's up to you...do something and help me and other people with same problem...
I've read about problems to find incursion, domination and conquest...

Regards.

And this is the answer for me an everyone who had the same problem and lose the rewards:

Hey there,

Thanks for getting in touch as I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to complete this section of the Faction Play Event. Unfortunately we won't be injecting the rewards for players who didn't complete all the criteria for the Faction Play Mode Challenge, however we'll make sure this feedback about the specific challenge is forwarded to the right folks in house.

Sorry we couldn't provide more assistance with this.

Let PGI know if you have same problems.
Let me know you think about this.

Live long, and low fps with 50% of cpu usage to everyone!

The main problem with events is that they rarely involve team play or rewarding team play. Any event where you have to get the kills means that any enemy mech cored or legged instantly attracts the majority of the team running flat out across the map to try to kill steal it.

If I had a dollar for each game I have more KMDD than kills Id be a rich man.

The main problem for the event was the game mode rotation system.
I've lost the reward because i can't find Domination mode.
Other players Incursion or Conquest...
For me, it's unbelievable.
I've played for 6 hours during my last night UTC+1 and only 1 time domination...
The second problem of this event, the players!
If u find your game mode...you lose the game and thant you have another time the first problem...

You try too much. You have to accept you can't always do all events and all parts of them.

Did you get annoyed about Clan heroes II leaderboard?

Very likely not. Not everyone even realized, that the leaderboard was not only for heroes, it was open to also those new cbill mechs released at same time. I saw no complaints about it how casual players don't have the cbills to use and easily get those mechbays. Or warhorns.

But I got 3 easy peasy mechbays and warhorns from that event. It only required that at the start of event you had 3 free mechbays and maybe 25-30 million cbills to "burn". I can't bother to think how much Ice Ferret, Mad Dog and Gargoyle cost but it's about that range. I brought the Ice Ferred before even I realized that just because the leaderboard and event says "heroes", the free for all cbill mechs are included too.

And kill stealing, on FP? Please, no. FP is much more lethal than QP. If someone tries to hang around and wait for opoturnities just to get some kills, that player will get far less of them, than another player who is more actively fighting. And just fighting is of course not enough. You need to dish out enough damage too.

Where you perceive kill stealing, you more likely observed someone just having better mechs and loadouts, using more firepower up front, then taking cover to cool off and cycle those weapons.

The issue with the event was just 1 thing, the fact that one of the challenge requirements was based entirely on RNG. If it was somthing like win 10-15 FP games, itd be a fine challenge, but having to win 1 of EACH mode when you are never guaranteed to even get each mode even once during the week is a horrible challenge idea (only people that play alot had a hope in hell of getting it).

Aside from that, the rest was not hard to achieve if you put in a few hours and actually played well (as in stole kills while using your team as meatshields/distractions :D ).

They gave 100 MC as an apology for the RNG if you had 5 wins in any mode, which is nice if you missed by a hair. I'm thinking they were just testing the event system.

I posted this before, but I really don't think PGI was listening:

Lets run the odds a sec.

Lets be kind and assume a 50% win rate.
If a particular game mode has a 5% chance to occur, bayes' theorem means you have a pretty good chance for a win in all game modes after about 80 games.

Say these games take about 30 minutes and need about 10 minutes of wait time between, so PGI is asking you to play for 53 hours and 20 minutes, sound good to you?

They keep claiming they have folks that look at data and are able to understand statistical analysis, but they keep doing things that leads us to question their basic reasoning skills...
