so more then a few times i find myself come over a hill and end up face to face with the entire enemy team and before i can back out im looking at a nice view of my smouldering mech.
so my idea is to have a recon ballistic shell that could be fired, and gives you a snapshot of the enemy it passes over. so unlike a UAV that gives them on the map moving around, you only get to see them for a second or so. probably keep the range down to below 1000m. the weapon would either be a consumable, or maybe actually be a mountable weapon like a narc launcher (but for a ballistic slot)
i mean they had camera shells in WW1, and WW2 for artillery pieces

Interesting idea, yet they would have to introduce the other special munitions to ACs first. http://www.sarna.net...ecial_Munitions

Source? IIRC they were just now (1990-2000s) beginning development of them. https://www.afcea.or...t-ground-forces
