No games last season, though.
So it's either a very good player who is also running a webscraping bot, or a PGI staffmember (who is potentially artificially inflating their alt account's stats.

The questions are: what data? And for what purpose?
Our profiles contain:
- personal information such as birthday, location, gender
- when we signed up
- who are our forum friends
- our topics, posts, numbers of posts, and average frequency of posting
Hypotheses:
- PGI is trying to build a profile of their customer base pre-MW5.
- Harmony Gold's lawyers are gathering input for their court case.
- Hackers are gathering personal information for use in payment system fraud.
- Someone from Reddit is going to analyse and post data on The Brown Sea.
- Paul is running Sentiment Analysis on posts so he can set the MatchMaker to Punish.
- Tina suddenly realised there's a community and maybe it has something to do with her job.
Very good possibilities. I would add:
- a race of space aliens is fighting a loosing war against an evil empire. They have too many elite battle machines and not enough pilots so they are mining the MWO database in search of pilot candiates to aid their cause and defeat the evil invaders!

Yes it has. Really good too - Average 405 MSR. I doubt a bot is pulling that.
Well technically people are the ones who write bots and unleash them onto the wild internet, so the workings of any bot can be attributed to a human being. And it's likely you might need regular profile to snoop up other peoples profiles so for that reason the person would have played some games.
Any profile can be opened by the ID alone, you do not need to know the name of the account. For example:
https://mwomercs.com...08-waaaaaaaah!/
And with that, one can see the bot has been running through the IDs incrementally. (If you check profile IDs in incremental order, you will see the bot visited them in the same order from the time stamp.)
