You ever played Hawken? It would change your life.

I have, and it was probably one of the most bland games I've ever tried. From the drawn out gameplay because nobody smart ever died to the uninspired artstyle, shrugworthy mech designs, and arena gameplay with repairs and respawns pretty much eliminating the satisfaction of outplaying someone, I had more fun browsing youtube while waiting in the dead queues than I did playing.

That's just an opinion though, formed on only around 6 hours of playtime.

Yeah, i know. Just pointing out that the Commando model is the 2D. That's why we call them "fun facts".

At first I didn't see the difference:

2D

But then I looked at the arm slot and noticed it. That's definitely weird. Why would they give it that loadout of a laser for a missile slot in mw2? I wonder if the mw2 game refers to it as that? I know they did have variants and such.

Another fun fact, somewhat unrelated:
One of the one ton mechs in mw2 mercenaries once bugged out on me in the mech bay in instant action customization such that it ignored the tonnage limits. By the time I was done it weighed about 10000 tons and had as many large pulse lasers as I could stack on it, jump jets, and heat sinks, the fastest engine, and a whole lot of armor. I think I named it behemoth. Which is funny because of it's size. Used to ram 100 ton things with its jump jets and watch them fly a good distance backwards and die. I also didn't know about autoclicking programs back then so I had to add every point of armor manually.

The previous Mechwarrior games didn't have dymanic models, so their appearance was entirely dictated by the base variant, no matter what you did to it. The COM-2D is the base variant of the Commando, so that's what it looks like.

Steam says I have 27 hours in it. Your point? Fired it up a few weeks ago and the p2w has gotten worse. Oh, and its a buggy mess still. The map doesn't even load in half the time so I am simply walking over a void.

Edit; Oh, and they just announced they are shutting down the servers for PC. https://community.pl...nset-announced/ So anyone who plays (and payed for) it on PC every once in a while is screwed over because the incompetent publisher decided to just move it to console where they can make more money off it by charging more for DLC/in store things.
