Can someone please let me know what is going on here:

Here are some of my mech stats before a patch or two ago:

Here are my stats for some of those mechs now:

Keep in mind "lance position". A person who is in either the first lance position or the second is not the reason for the teams loss. They are not the dead weight. They performed at the top of their weight group.

I cant seem to get on a winning streak nor can I seem to break even. What is going on?
I have been noticing this trend well before I recently started keeping track of the overall losing streaks.

Sometimes the matchmaker hates you.
The 20 matches i had just before i reached tier 1 were brutal. Every match was 12-0 or 12-1 loss.
When that happens it's just best to log out.
24 hours can make huge difference in the quality of team (matchmaking)

You're having a bad season. It happens.

The thing is, according to my lance position and individual game stats (please see my match score and damage spreadsheet), I am usually at or near the top of both my lance and team. Leading the team (or or 2 or 3 from top position) in both damage and match score in Tier 1 doesnt mean I am having a bad season. Yet I am still losing most of my games. Something else is going on.

And I often watch twich-livestreams.... even top players are getting so many potatoes in their Team (quick Play) that they can't carry them. But thats nothing new....

because PSr is badly rating, winnign with hardly doing much for the win is too much of a + for everyone, so as long as the potatoe plays a few 1000's of games they end up T1.

Just go to the leaderboards and see how many in the tops are on medicore stats, but you can bet everyone of these around W/L1 people (which is just average or a bit average and so should be T3) will end up in T1 by how the PSR works. Thats people who play hundreds of matches per season. And slowly entered T1 already. And there it is, your T3 player in T1.

So lets take the pilot NVG97 he is currently ranked 11 with W/L 1.01 and k/d 070 average score of 219 per match. and something around 600 played matches. That is the kind of playert that by how PSR works slowly crawls upwards. While with these stats he whould never leave T3. Also Pilots like Xylor. They are the ones belonging to T3 and maybe lower t2. but surely not t1.

This is seriously soemthign PGI needs to look at. And while I am not much of a fan of the statistics I start to think a stat based rating may work better than the current PSR.

maybe, tiering people like

T5: < k/d 0.5
T4 < k/d 0.8
T3 < k/d 1.2
T2 < k/d 2.0
T1 > 2.0 (this shoudl make sure the population of t1 isn't too low.)

It could also factor in W/L to some degree and maybe average match score.
I know it's not all about kills, but that would surely work better than what PSR currently is causing.
