They were part of a gang, the "this year loyalty gang". Now they are just Special variant. Sure the GRF pattern is really good and the VTR promises good customisability with different colour scheme... but they arent Loyalty mech to me.

Last years (L) pattern were so good. The Rusty effect of last year was the best of them all.

Look at that CTF, thats the single best pattern in the whole game.


It worked great with the natural oily finish of the BJ.


It just looked good. with tons of possibility. I would definitely own an extra of every mech i like just to have that pattern on them.

The "made of coins" overlay of two years ago was awesome too and i wish its something i could apply to other of my favorite mech.




First year, even if i found the colour customisation possibilities to be lacking, they had a bitching angel with rope binding and with sober colours it was really nice.





These new (L) dont add anything special.

The GRF is nice, mostly because of the shape of the GRF but is kinda messy. I wonder how colour customisation will work if at all on it.





The Victor would fit on most mech and is a (L) quality pattern we're used to.

This thread is irrelevant because of the lack of Urbanmech.

My graphics must suck because my (L) mechs we’re tie-dyed....

In a Galaxy far far away. Those of the current (L) are terrible, kitfox and lbk, ug. What i said about the mech above applies to them too. The Exec looks awesome but i wasnt going to pay just for this one. I only bought mc for the CDA and i wouldnt be caught dead piloting the wolverine variant or zeus even with those camo. Still undecided if i get the VTR or not. Ill regret not having it, the same way as the EXEC, but i wont pilot it either :/ Still need time to figure out which is the bright decision and which is the right decision.

As much as i loved the Centurion/Atlas/King Crab theme and even the Cataphract/Blackjack/Hellbringer/Summoners pattern, i'm glad they're doing something different this year.

Instead of a theme or the exact same pattern we get unique mechs with different unique patterns, kinda prefer that as to provide even more customization options when it comes to paint instead of slapping on the same 3 for everything.

The Urbie is another one i call messy. The part with the rocks is really nice and would make a great overall. But the upper part is whatever and unrelated.

Everyone liked those and they looked good on all the mechs. They offered something new not found on other mech(effects and special pattern).

And you ditch quality for the sake of something different even if its super bland an unoriginal like any other (S). Which one do you like in this year (L)? dont lie, most are boring and unoriginal. The Victor and LBK are the only one that looks like playing with colours will yield something interesting. The other are just messy with small details and/or too many different colours to give us any good customasibility. nothing more than a (S) variant.

Thats kind of a problem if you cant figure out how to paint a mech differently because it has the same pattern.

Well tbh there was only one combination that i liked the most from last years pattern, i ended up with anime-based paints/names so they are different. But if we are to go back all the way to the first rewards, yeah... they're all the same purple main/white or yellow knot.

I have the opposite problem. I buy mech just to paint them differently. I took a bunch of pics with different colour scheme on my bj and ctf before deciding on which one id take. I just know that if i could id buy other mech just to paint them in the other colours i like. You prefere drawing on the mech, i prefer paint effect.
