Ok everyone, im sure we have all seen the new map Caustic Valley, a bit of a hot zone if you know what i mean but thats not what i wanna talk about. 10 seconds into the vid the contact is made with a mech, at first glance i thought it was nothing but when i played it back and paused, after a few minutes of staring at it, the design didnt seem to be one that has been announced.. Maybe im wrong. What did you see?

Looks like a Hunchback with srm on the torso instead of a AC

its a hunchback variant, it says so in the little letters right next to it

HUD ID's it as an HBK-4SP. Weapon load is standard; 2x SRM6, 4x ML, SL.

I see a Hunchback from the rear. You can tell on fullscreen.

Why would they encourage more sign ups for closed beta when it is founders only... without mentioning that...? Pretty shady on a heat map.

all the founders will be in this week. maybe they want more apps to add after that. maybe they just forgot to consult you on all their decisions the way you guys agreed they would. who knows

Because Aug 7 is when Founders get in. They never said they were not going to bring anyone else in afterwards.

Odd map to promote signups

"Come Play Caustic Valley, spend half the game shut down!!!"

I especially like the part at the end were a Centurion get killed by flamers, or the Catapult shutsdown from firing machine guns.

Hence the reason why Hunchbacks without their AC/20 are called Swaybacks, they look like a whole different 'Mech.

They have torchered that poor thing throughout the vid, i saw it running without arms, having a atlas shoot an arm off and another mech shoot it away, ganged up on etc. I think they are trying to tell us, once youre in a centurion...you will get owned lol

Hunch back variant. 45p or 4sp cant tell.

I would say its 4sp based on the map, it makes more sense.

That map looks superb, it will bring new game play options and strategies.
I really like the fact that the ground beneath you can cause excessive heat.
Brilliant.

As for the topic on hand concerning the Mech.....the Atlas configuration instead of the Swayback gives me the warm fuzzies.
