But really.. How hard was it to add a helmet/head to the body?

Just another minimal viable product / lack of effort..

Its actually smart. A helmet model is pointless to have since you'd never see it. At worst it could cause lower FPS due to having to be rendered, at best it takes a little bit of some modeler's time and never actually gets rendered in anything ingame.

Why would they though? The easiest way to solve camera's potentially clipping through a static pilot model helmet is to not include it. Easy.

Besides, if they did include a head, you know what we would be doing now? Throwing a fit about the style of nuerohelmet used. I GUARANTEE that's what we would be doing. PGI apparantly couldn't win on this one.

some people haven't played many games, and they don't know about the horrors of seeing your characters teeth and eyeballs from within ^^
