I pre-order the 2 mech packs I was able to buy since joining MWO, ie Hellspawn and Piranha, and missed out on pre-ordering the Thanotos. Before the flames come, I want to say that I PO mech packs as a form of monthly subscription to the game, by paying it forward, and the extra c-bills and cockpit items are incentive bonuses I want dearly, more so the cbills.

Now that there is this thing of mech pack launch events, where players who pre-ordered (or purchased) these mech packs can now earn even more bonuses, can we expect such mech launch events to occur for the subsequent mech launches, ie Thanotos, Hellspawn, Piranha and so on?

As it stands, each pre-order comes with 6.5m cbills, and completing the challenge for a standard mech nets a further 3m, so in reality a standard mech pack PO has a potential 9.5m cbill payout plus a further 2 cockpit items and 2m cbills for each additional mech add-on.

9.5m cbills is a mighty fine appetiser for pre-ordering standard mech packs

And lastly (no malicious intent to politicise this!), yes mech pack events should have support pack bonuses, regardless of support pack ownership status. It could even help push both mech pack and support pack sales, think about it
