Have to wait after the next mech be announced for the clans, and after that it's up in air.

By my guess they using Gas' poll to see what the next mech they want ti bring out to sell.

Why do you want this? All I see is a giant target with bad hitboxes.

That and the Blood Asp are probably the 2 most requested mechs now. I would assume with in the year you will have your preorder, if not it in your mech bay :)

Oh you mean like the annihilator?

They'll just give it quirks, I'm surprised you aren't thinking ahead at this point, being a veteran founder, whose played this game for about 5~ years.

Hard to tell though. I'm guessing it will be the next assault though - But we just got one. So the answer I'd give is 'When an IS Assault MechPack Slot opens up.'

I suggest starting a awareness thread and try to garner enough supporters, to show PGI what mech the players want. That's how we got three highly requested mechs.

I'll hold off with the Blood Asp for now we got MC MKII, I'll be more infavor of the Turkina or some other Jade Falcon assault mech, they haven't have one yet in this game.

Also if they do add the Asp, I would like it's hero to be something of the MA2 game 4x Ballastics (2 in each arm) 3xE (1 Each St and 1 in the CT)

If I remeber 4x (U)AC's, 2x(ER)PPC, and a Flamer.

@Scout Derek: Adequate durability quirks are the exception not the norm. The Uziel is of recent vintage and is terrible. How do you explain that? The law of jump jets being OP = crap quirks?

People are already complaining about the Nova Cat. I don't think geometry is properly accounted for in many cases.

My god. Every time I think I have seen the ugliest Mech ever (like this), there is an even uglier one.
And what is even more crazy: there is always one guy desperately loving it and demanding that another superfluous reskin be added to the game just to pamper his crazy taste.

I bet 100 million CB that you don't actually like the form, but the (assumed) might it represents because of its dual heavy gauss.
Such a puny instinctive thought process.

This reminds me of my Eve-Online times, where people screamed in excitement that the "Apocalypse", the ugliest ship ever in existence, was the "most beautiful" and that solely for the reason that it was the only ship at that time to fit the maximum of 8 large weapons.

I MUST CONSTANTLY DISPLAY HOW SUPERIOR A SPECIMEN OF HUMANITY I AM TO DISTINGUISH MYSELF AGAINST THE FLOTSAM. LOOK AT ME AND MY GLORIOUS, SUPERIOR INTELLECT AND ABILITIES; I HAVE COMPLETELY RID MYSELF OF ALL PASSION AND ONLY CLINICAL, GOD-LIKE PERFECTION REMAINS. I REMAIN, HOWEVER, A GENEROUS GOD; I SHALL BESTOW SOME OF MY WISDOM UNTO YOU POOR UNFORTUNATE SOULS SO THAT YOU MAY ATTEMPT TO RAISE YOURSELVES TO A PLANE OF EXISTENCE CLOSER TO MY OWN.

I bet you are reaaaallllly fun at parties.

"Hey, man, do you like the beer?"

"How could you even enjoy this inebriating substance? It damages your liver and your brain cells. I refuse to accept that ingesting it in a social setting as a cultural standby is any fun; Obviously, all of you have an intellect lower than mine, to drink such a heinous thing. But luckily, you have me here to inform you how wrong you all are, because you are all obviously driven by your primitive instincts."

tl;dr, Stop whining that people want a 100-ton assault mech more relevant to the Fedcom Civil War than the freaking Annihilator, and stop being such a tool. Because saying crap like "Puny Instinctive thought process" doesn't make you look educated, it makes you look like a pretentious troglodyte.

I dunno, we already have the Jenner, it doesn't get much goofier than that.

I like big gun 'mechs, like the Hunchbacks, Shadow Hawk & Marauders. The same reason why I want to see the Hollander in game.

I'll take those 100,000,000 C-Bills now, thanks.

No Fafnir variant has split crits in the first place. And if split critting were a mechanic, why would you need it for the Fafnir specifically? Running an XL in it would be tantamount to suicide.

(That said, it can run Stealth armor on most canon builds...But even then, you can find a way to fit twingauss and an XL, which would likely be better than twin AC20+XL+Stealth.)

Spoiler

Everyone knows the Amarr make the best looking ships!

The Executioner and Crucifier were personal favourites, back when I tried to get into playing EVE.
