I thought I read in the patch notes that the glitch that turned off your mechs cruise control during acceleration when hitting tab was fixed.. I'm here to report that it's not.. still experiencing this very annoying bug, even when I'm going full speed it will sometimes stop my mech.

Very often my cruise control keeps throttle on full or jams movement to some direction no matter what I do.
Usually ends up me dying as I have no control over mech.

I don't have your problem.. but for as long as I can remember, well ever since I started using cruise control years ago due to repetive movement strain on my nerve along my arm from holding down the 'W' key constantly (yes, I can't stand still in my mech for too long ).

A work-around I found for this is pressing the A,S,D and W movement keys before pressing my 100% Throttle hotkey. This allows me to press tab, open team chat, etc without losing my cruise-control for the rest of the match, and this work-around works about 95% of the time.

This bug doesn't occur every match (it's random as far as I can see) but I was excited to hear the bug was fixed in the patch notes.. but I counted my eggs before they were hatched it seems. I'm in communication with PGI about it now. They want me to send them a video showing this as they couldn't reproduce it in quickplay. But like I said it's random.

Yeah, It's really annoying, PGI pls fix it!

Update: The cruise-ctrl bug is not as random anymore, it occurs about 95% of the time since the patch.. also, my tried and true work-around doesn't work anymore.. The patch actually made it worse...

I'm new to the center torso on tab. Was this happening before patch?
