The DWF gets 2 extra lasers (2 ERLL and 6 ERML) and the MAD-IIC-C only has to give up one ER ML (2 ERLL, 3 ERML) with 2 Gauss, and goes 57 kph with one JJ. Its a little slow, but that doesn't stop it from performing pretty well, and the Gauss convergence is unreal.

The problem with it is with the MG lights and the fact it has large rear torsos makes those Gauss horrid on the MAD-IIC-C. Gauss in the torso in the current environment is just asking to get your torso exploded.

Yeah, I almost editted that post afterward because the last time I ran that mech my ST got blown out from the rear early... I let it go though.

Gauss/PPC has been pretty dead since before May. The Night Gyr clung to it because it could poptart, and those weren't even rampant in the public queue.

Clan Gauss vomit is very strong, IS not so much. I have been enjoying PPC/UAC5 combos on both sides of the fence as well.

What if we shifted both the IS LL and LPL damage up by 1?

I don't believe it was a majority that wanted it nerfed. It was a very vocal sub set of the population.

The only time it was really devastating was facing someone head on and standing still like a bump. People that hadn't learned to move at angles to the enemy. By the time you have the lead in, there was very little convergence (especially with the travel speed difference) so half the alpha would either miss or hit another torso. Seems strange that they keep buffing weapons that take little or no skill to use or are constantly stacked in large numbers to the point where they become a problem - yet when someone can come up with a combination that works fairly well but takes a bit of skill to pull off - Oh no we can't have that. The ol nerf bat is a bit picky in what it decides to descend on.
