The game patched up this morning absolutely fine but now when I leave the launcher and enter my password in the game I get the following message:
"A network error has occurred. Please check your internet connection."
Literally everything else is working fine, I've restarted the router, my ISP isn't experiencing any issues, I've ran the MWO repair tool, does anyone have a fix or a workaround?

Same here. Seems like every update breaks the game more and more. :/

Your locations / ISP? At least two of your profiles indicate you are in the UK. I am in Texas, USA and have not had any issue getting in.

a bunch of germans were having issues yesterday, and eventually they worked out they were having networking issues .... the servers that do the authentication, are not in the same location as the forums, or the gameservers ....

Problem:
MWO Game checks multible URLs at Startup (serial, not paralell ?)
A DNS Resolution can use up to 10 Seconds (Microsoft Documentation)
In a worst case scenario (5 URLS, each 10 Seconds = 50 Seconds)
ergo:
You maybe click Login Button to fast!
Solution:
After you klicked Play in the Launcher dont click Loggin Button as soon as possible, go for coffee and dont skip intros, wait in total 50 Seconds and then click Login Button.
Helped for me.
What also can help:
use Google Public DNS (Check Wikipedia for Google Public DNS):
Change your DNS in your Ethernet or WLAN TCP/IPv4 Settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Restart PC.
Then you maybe have faster DNS Resolution what can help.
@PGI, you dont need to hire me, just gimme 10.000 MC for doing your Debug Analysis
