Someone forgot their delta-time, again. Similar to the recently patched MRM bug, the flycam speed is completely dependent on framerate, and moves slower in both speeds when the framerate is reduced.

To limit the framerate, use the following line in the user.cfg file:

sys_MaxFPS = 12

It's not a comfortable solution but it works for getting fancy screenshots.

Damn, if only testing ground ran at 35fps like multiplayer instead of 120+fps.

Or they could just add a camera speed control.

Alternatively, go get a cheap, used XBox controller and plug it in. The freecam speed responds to thumbstick percentile inputs, meaning you can have a nice, smooth, slow camera motion with a $5 controller and not needing to tweak your files.

What's this now? I got 2 analog devices that MWO recognizes but neither affects the freecam and there's no analog binding in the options. Is it Xinput only?

I need to ask Kanajashi. Afaik, he simply plugged it in and it worked.
