Hello.

The little yellow warning sign appears to be bugged, showing up even if every skill chosen is relevant to my loadout.

Fixing it would be nice (if the irrelevant skills were highlighted it would be even better).

That warning indicates the skill tree itself has skills your mech's loadout can't use, not skills you've selected.

For forum warriors to double check that would you like to post http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab and https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/.
also one option might be that you have consumable buffs selected in skill tree and don't have that consumable mounted.

Oh, thanks. So it's not very useful at all, I should have known better.

New suggestion: Make a sign that warns you if you have selected a point without effect on your current loadout.

Yah, I know... being of no use and confusing is only marginally better than bugged, isn't it?

That would be nice.

it would be nice if the little triangle told you in specifics what skill(s) it was making reference to.

There is already a window that pops up when you add skills that do not currently affect your mech.

That would be pretty handy, it's not like we have a triangle with notes telling us not to fire X amount of weapons or halloween heat goes crazy...

Seems so easy to implement, but I don't write code so I honestly wouldn't know, just my 2 cents.

I too wrongly assumed that this had a use.

Mechlab challenge: create a functional mech that lets the warning sign in the 'weapon' tree disappear.

You'll need a Flamer, Laser, Gauss rifle, RAC or UAC, Missles - did I forget something?

Exactly. I think I have a skill set on one of my Urbies, similar to the other variants I've got but nothing stands out, no nodes contained etc that could warrant such a warning, heck I dotn even use consumables or put any skill points in the Aux tree on ANY of my mechs as far as I know.

If you have consumable skill nodes, did you check if you have equipped consumables?
