Hey.

I'm looking for a nice build for my newly acquired phranken Hunchie.

So far I've tried 3ERLL+4ERSL, wich seems very hot, and 2ERLL+5ML(and ERML), wich was pretty underwhelming.

Any suggestions?

I just crammed its hunch full of med-pulses and the rest with mediums and it's working fine...ish?

Definitely one of my... Better performing mechs (most of my mechs are complete hodgepodges of junk, like my AC10, 1xML, 2xLMG, 2xSRM6 Bushwacker).

I've had the most success post Skill Tree with 6x MPL.

STD or LFE flavours.

I rarely get into QP without some ranged option, because I want to be able to influence the game early on and be active - that's why I'm not a big fan of the 'medium laser only' builds.

It's quite silly how much better the IIC is in comparison.

You can always try a 3x (ER)PPC or 5x LPPC build. I've planned them out, but not field tested them yet
I would love 6x LPPC, but the STD engine kills it (I want them all in the hunch).

STD250 and 6 LPPC - or 3 LPPC and 4 MPL...

Hmm, wonder how hot 2 PPC and 5 ML would get? Hmmm....

Clan version has 6 more damage, better cooling, and 50% more range. I run mine with 7 CMPL (cause 6 is still weak), and I can out trade IS HBK-4P every time.

Pretty looks make for attractive target, that's all. I'd prefer to improve my stats. Stormcrow (S) will be my choice.

Max light engine, light ferro/DHS, 9 medium lasers, and as many heat sinks as she'll suffer.

I mainly use 3 different firing groups chained in sets of 3, so its constant DPS.
You can also Alpha at 50% and not overheat.
