While i really appreciate getting items from this loot event, and the MC has been generous, i do have one thing to nit pick about. It's the MC consumables. With the changes to the consumable system, MC consumables are the same now. (old was they acted as if the skills were unlocked.) which basically makes these items very hard for the average person to use.

reloading them after the matches, having to swap consumables in your mechs to use them, ect.. I like getting them from events for sure, but please reconsider giving us MC consumables in the future.

Thanks a bunch!

Yes, remove MC consumables from event rewards, and give us potential crate keys, or even crates instead. Posted Image

Yes, please. It sucks having to manually load these things every match, and there's only one reason to do it this way - To trick people into spending MC. That cannot be acceptable.

I have always thought of the MC consumables as one of the "trick" prizes and assumed that was just PGI's way of evening out the otherwise pure "treats" (cbills, MC, etc.).

But how else are you going to use them, click the auto reload, and the start to accidentally spend MC when you forget the number you have to use ?

Wish I could sell them for 1 MC each.

I'm sure you realise that the master plan with MC consumables is that you'll equip them, put them on auto-reload, and then forget.

Then one day you notice half your MC is gone.

They used to serve a purpose. Now they are just a newbie trap. Please remove them.

I put em on mechs I rarely ever play...or only play as a theme night, or once in a blue moon novelty...LRM boats, my Pretty Baby, the crappier Locust variants, etc. That way I never have to worry about it.

I got suckered that way, once. I didn't even realised I'd accidentally equipped an MC consumable instead of the CBill consumable I'd intended.

By the time I realised, several hundred MC had been unnecessarily wasted.

It's not like you can even delete them to avoid the error recurring.

I agree. It is ok to have consumables but they shouldn't be MC consumables. I tend to not even use them because of the very reasons listed here, if I put them on Auto then forget about them I burn through MC for no good reason and there is no way in the UI for me to limit my auto fill to just whats in inventory. Also I am not about to load them up singly every match so they just sit there collecting dust.

The other think I am not found off is the GXP rewards. It isn't so much the GXP itself, it is the amount. Back when we were using the GXP mostly to unlock modules, 200-300 GXP was a decent reward. Now, it isn't enough enough to unlock 1 SP on 1 single mech so that reward also feels much like a "trick" instead of a treat.

And I guess if I am going to complain, I might as well go all the way hehe. The damn skulls and Halloween lights....I think I got like a dozen each of them already. I never mount them so again they end up being a "Trick" for me as well.

So the only thing useful is the MC and the C-bills and the Warhorn.

On the other hand, it is free stuff so aside for the issue with awarding MC consumables which will possibly lead me to spending MC unintentionally, there really isn't anything to complain about.

you'all are all right: cash sinks..... Oh well, so much for quality..... As above, just give us premium time, GXP (which they really don't want to give up!), and c-bills..... The rest is just..........well, I can't say it.........

Yup. They're a cash trap. I wish I could sell them or delete them. Never used a single one since 2014.

Yeah PGI... Why expect any of the players to be capable of adulting on their own, and not need hand holding when it comes to managing their game resources, including MC consumables which they were rewarded for free as prizes. That's just too logical....

Love MC consumables as prices. Got around 1k MC from them during the skill tree refund. Long term savings, so to say.

Yeah that was good. Doubt we'll ever see another refund situation though.

"Pssst...here, kid, the first one's free!"

I get why they do it--which is fine, freemium marketing is what it is--but I personally don't have any use for them.

Personally, since during Tukk2, when I loaded these things up, and then accidentaly having to burn 900-ish MC, and PGI refusing a refund, I never use MC consumables..

So I would most rather an option which lets us sell them back for MC..
