The comm exchange may be the best part. Reminds me of Mechwarrior 2 and Mechcommander, I loved that.

"What was that Sigma 3?"

"Nothing..."

If something in the Mechwarrior universe isn't overacted I don't think it will ever seem right to me. xD Battletech as a whole however seems a bit more possible for subtle acting though.
