Canonically, it's a minimum of 180m (which goes well with the "it's 200m, OK to fire" comment in the video) and max 630m.

Of course, stuff like MW4 extended those ranges somewhat. But it's safe to say that you'll be able to hit full-force with an LRM salvo at around 600m.

Well there was clan tech in mech 4 and anyone with half a brain used the clan tech cause it was lighter, did more damage, and had greater range. From what i can see it looks like just regular LRM's not the ER LRM's or Clan ER LRM's. Which is the worst vers of the LRM that is in the game. Innersphear tech is horrible compaired to Clan tech. the only advange IS has is that it's dirt cheap. That's why i get a good laugh how they make out that the Med Laser is supposed to be this awsome weapon, which in truth it's not. It's equal to damage and range to the Clan ER small laster. Granted the IS Large laser isn't much better. But I don't know what kind of tonnage and damage is involed but going by Mech 4 numbers 4 Med Lasers did as much damage and had the same tonnage as 1 Large Laser. The Large Lasers advange was that it had better range than the Med Lasers. So you can deside for yourself if you want to fire 4 beams or just 1.
