Hello everyone.

I do not know if this is the place to talk about these things but i looked for a special category in the forum and i didn't saw any slots for this type of problem ...there is the support etc thingy but i didn't ever use outlook expres since that pop-ed up when i clicked it.

The problem is exactly as the title say's i wanted to play some MWO cuz i didn't play for some time (about a year or so) and this little thing showed up. "Server under main..." i looked on google etc and didn't find any solution ...and if i did those were topics from 2014 and so on ...if this is only a problem of mine or is someone else having the same issue and if there is a possible solution for this? Thank you !

Maybe deinstall the game and download a fresh client ?

Have you try running the repair tool if you can ?

I had similar problems WHENEVER I lose connection to the WWW !

So first check in your BROWSER if you can reach www.mwomercs.com or any other site ... and check your DNS server entries !

IF connection problems are causing your troubles, please contact your ISP about this issues !

^^ That link right there should be all you need, the MWO CS is by far the easiest CS to deal with ever.

The servers aren't undergoing maintenance. That's actually a generic error message that comes up in the event of a whole host of different connection problems. Contacting support who will walk you through several steps to clear it up.

Potential Firewall issue - the port at the time of log-in attempt for the authentication server is being blocked.

Router issue - reset/restarting router

I sometimes get that message when there is a connection issue on my end. I just exit the game, restart my router and everything works fine afterwards.

Order of steps to take to fix this issue:

1) Hit Start, open or type in the Run prompt the following:

CMD

type

ipconfig /flushdns

hit enter, then retry

2) Try changing your DNS provider following this guide:

https://developers.g...-dns/docs/using

3) If neither works, open a support ticket or post to the forums here with the following info:

a) who your ISP is
:D approximate location (if you are comfortable sharing it)
c) the results of opening the command prompt and issuing this command: nslookup patcher.mwomercs.com
d) the results of tracert patcher.mwomercs.com

And some interesting info in this thread.
