The first original BattleMech produced by Clan Wolf, [3] the Imp was first seen by the Inner Sphere in the ranks of Wolf's Dragoons. It is designed with weapons that can engage an enemy at a multitude of ranges. Indeed, the Imp has what seems to be a weapon for just about any range or situation and can be called a "Swiss Army Knife" of a 'Mech. It has a maximum speed of 54 km/h, which is not extremely fast, but it does allow it to keep pace with most 'Mechs of the assault class. The 'Mech is also armored with eighteen tons of armor, which is more than respectable for its weight and provides a great deal of protection.

The Imp carries, as its primary long range weapons, a pair of Magna Firestar ER PPCs for direct fire and a Mitchell Systems LRM-15. For intermediate combat, the 'Mech carries a Thunderbolt-12 Large Pulse Laser and for short range combat the 'Mech carries two Magna 400P Medium Pulse Lasers and two Martell Model 5 Medium Lasers.

I can think of vastly better and more significant IS assault mechs to add than an Imp.

So hopefully, never.

Things get released more for popularity or nostalgia. Whichever will sell best.

Urbie's ultimate form regrettably is extinct in the Inner Sphere, save for Wolf's Dragoons. So likely never.

Problem is the summoning ritual for an Imp involves arranging 5 Urbanmech IICs in a pentagon, and we don't even have those yet.

No matter how ugly and ridiculous the Mechs are that we already have (coming up), there's always one that is even uglier.
And there is always at least one guy who actually thinks it would be a good idea to invest tremendous resources into getting it into MWO.

I'd love to see the Imp and Flashman make it in. It would complete the UrbanMech lineage trifecta!
