I recently noticed that at the end of a match, you can see how much missiles you destroyed in a match. This inspired me, and i made myself a Wolfhound 1B AMS boat.(As it has 20% more AMS range). A bubble of 222m and i intercepted 2100 missiles in a FP match. Gosh dammit that was awesome! But...

Does it actually reward you with EXP and cbills to do that?

shooting down missiles with AMS is worth absurd match score

you can rack up a lot of cbills that way with a hero kitfox, premium time, and triple ams

Yes they do, the triple ams purifier is one of my main cbill printing machines. 3 ams, all relevant skill nodes for ams and 4 er meds with ecm. Throw some lasers out every now and then, and just listen the the BRRRRRRRRRRRTT of the ams, If you listen closley you can hear cash registers goin off in the background lol

I also have the wolfhound 1B. One best IS mechs to do Dual AMS with. It feels great making a no fly zone. Just make sure you ether have one Laser AMS or alot of ammo.

sounds about right

I get between 500-700 match score when I do between 400-700 damage and shoot down 2000 missiles (not hard to do)

with +30% cbill hero/loyalty/invasion kitfox, +10% tournament pack, +50% premium... you could easily make 350-400k cbills per quickplay match

it pretty much is like printing cbills and the kitfox is one of the funnest mechs to play IMO

Triple AMS Nova-S works well too.

It has decent AMS quirks and can actually kill a couple of SRM/MRM per volly, when fully skilled.

I just don't see enough LRM/ATM/SSRM at tier 1 to be worth it. In Tier 5 or 4 it not only reaps decent rewards but it can win games for your team.

I just shot down 1,029 missiles in a loss (Domination). With 179-ish damage to the enemy (Kit Fox, overheating from 2 LAMS), I got less than 400xp and only 87k c-bills. I'm not seeing the reward here.

Relative scale, is it an absurd amount of missiles shot down? Or is it an absurd amount of missiles fired at max range into an active AMS? Think about it.

Also the reward is less than what it was, I don't see it adding huge amounts to my match score overall as a guy with a single AMS.

this is how you kitfox, made 300k off this game, wouldve made more if my team actually won...

also wasnt using a purifier that wouldve been 30% more cbills

no triple LAMS is waaaaaay too hot

I use one LAMS and two AMS

my kitfox-c build is 3 cerml, 4 machine guns (1.5 tons of ammo), 1 lams, 2 ams (1.5 tons of ammo), ecm, 4 jumpjets, and 13 DHS

on the purifier I run something different though because of the high energy mounts. its good at CERPPC jumpsniping.

Yeah I checked, AMS doesn't give any cbills or exp. For a brief time it used to, then it was turned off as the rewards were too much.

Generally speaking any action that generates cbills, is listed on the results on left tab. If it's not there, it doesn't apply. AMS is listed only on the middle tab, which is match score breakout. Right tab is exp.
