With the current starting positions, it basically forces a single strategy in 95% of games: hold/push saddle. This makes almost every match predictable, and frankly rather stale. I would propose moving the D7 base closer to C7/C6. This would allow the team spawning in the lower city to try a tunnel push, without risking the base entirely. This would make sense since currently the base in G3 is virtually uncappable without an enemy contact en route, or trying to hold the saddle being a mech down for a significant amount of time while a light takes the long route to G3 through the water on the 3 line. I think this would be a relatively simple fix, and spawns wouldn't necessarily need to be adjusted.
As it stands the G3 can check saddle for a quick win with basically no substantial commitment, but if D7 doesn't hold at saddle every game, then they are almost always at a disadvantage.
