[Imperialus]

Just did two back to back matches, one as defender, the other as attacker. Like most the community I normally like escort missions about as much as being dragged over razor blades but they were actually a ton of fun. Defender won both times, which is unusual in my experience with escort missions.

As the attacker, the cover available made it tough to track the VIP mech as the attacker. We spotted him relatively early on, and put some damage on him, but the defending force pushed us back a bit and we actually managed to lose track of him in the twists and turns on the ground level.

As the defender, it was a really good map to channel enemies away from the VIP and put operation distracting idiot into play. Once they got a good bead on him they were so spread out that when we collapsed back in on the VIP we were able to tear them apart one at a time as they tried to reach him.
