[Gas Guzzler]

There is another poll with over 1500 votes.. it will be tough to get that kind of participation again any time soon.

Also, breaking it down by tonnage makes the water a little muddier but I guess it can be used in conjunction with other polls.

I am well aware of your poll and your dislike for mine. It's now the second or third time you've mentioned it. But since I can't get my voice heard in your rather biased one, I've created mine in an attempt to be as complete as possible. Can I vote for the Raijin or Hatchetman in yours? Nope! Does it make sense to add them now? Nope! Live and let live...

My poll isn't biased. I put mechs in there that I can't stand. You realize if the mech had any hope of scoring well it would have been suggested earlier right? No one suggested Raijin until very late. Yours even has poll JUST for mechs you like. That is pretty biased right there.

Also, Hatchetman is a no-go without melee.

Not my favorite mech either ^^ But it was leading the IS Assault bracket in Gas' and the 100t bracket in my poll, so I've been expecting this one for a while now.

Fine list, but's missing the Prototype Tomahawk OmniMech (100t, Clan). I'm interested to see it due to fact that I'm all about Dark Age

YES! Tomahawk for the next 100 tonner, though the Canis for another 80 tonner would be nice, first. It's a BattleMech, to boot!

The Deimos is a Clan Omnimech which sounds awesome. PGI give this to the Clan players.

not sure id the atlas 3 is a mech or a very tall suit of diving armor but either way... id pay for it.

So we finally did get the Flea. I gotta say I am a bit surprised, but in a positive way. I was expecting the Lollander or any of the better 25t mechs (Nexus, Raptor, Brigand or Mongoose). After the Piranha I didn't expect another 20t mech, and even if, than the Wasp. But I am glad we got it. Looks gorgeous to me.

The only thing that's letting the Flea down is the 170 max. engine rating on non MASC variants. Not sure if PGI is planning on huge survivability quirks on those, but that's not gonna help much on a 20t mech anyway. The speed isn't the only problem though, it's the 6 engine internal heat sinks that further add to the problem, because the external DHS aren't truly double. Probably not a big deal for the FLE-19 with it's 8 Ballistic and 1 Energy hardpoint, but the FLE-15 will suffer from that.

On the positive side we get the first light mech with MASC and an ECM variant that's gonna be available for CBill eventually. Hardpoints are high and plenty.
