Issue With Current Event

It's about the required 15x 250 min Matchscore required for the reward mech.
Now, I'm not a big Faction Play player, despite I actually like the idea of it. My problem lies with the Group mechanics in FP. I don't have a unit, I'm not sure if I'd want one, because i'm uncomfortable with huge groups of people (like more than 4 is getting rapidly unbearable for me). On top of that I don't play every day, and usually i just play like a couple of matches, do something else, maybe have a few more matches later. FOR exactly the same reasons I don't play any other multiplayer titles that make playing with other people mandatory.
Now, until now events usually required a match score of 150, which is perfectly fine for a solo player like me, even with just random groups. I just finished my first invasion, which of course, I lost. I got a match score of 233 still, which still would be fine with 150 required. This match took me about 50 minutes, because I waited like 20 to get into the game. With a required score of 150, still perfectly fine, because it still counts.. But no, for the mech I need 250, so it does not count. For 250 I pretty much need a win, and yeah, good luck with that in random queue. Yes, I know, i could get a group. But as stated before, I don't like that much.
So, why is the requirement for the Mech 250? all the other objectives only ask for 150. I don't have the time required to do that. Working full time, and late hours, when I have time to play in the morning there is not a cat in hell's chance to find a group there.
Anyways, it's only a Night Gyr, so i reckon i'll just pass on it. I just feel a bit left out, and like to raise this issue to PGI, so it might be improved upon in future.
Thanks for your attention.
PS: If by chance someone is in a unit, which would be able to cope with a socially awkward guy, that doesn't talk much but has no problem obeying orders and likes to contribute, I'd be happy if u'd drop me an IM, I might give it a try. I prefer playing Clan Mechs

I dont know the clan side much but on the IS side there are plenty of units which will accept you not talking much but following orders, HHOD for example.
Maybe if you went merc tree for a bit and hung around with them in the US time zone, Lore in the AU timezone or Cbr1 in the EU timezone.

That's exactly what I think as well - I tried scouting in the last event, gave up after 3 days of no progress because of that. Hence I swapped to invasion and had no problems achieving the goals, even though it took quite some time.

And for Clan pugs, loosing match is tad more likely than winning atm.

Already seen plenty of them today
Some people can be really weird... Why the hell do they even play/waste time on such things... pff!!!
/Ontopic :
I am having a lot of trouble with the 250 score too. Always just a small step away from it : 200 - 230 usually if all goes well
Already got the 100 MC for 1 Scouting win and all the 150 score stuff but the one for 4 Million C-bills can't be Redeemed yet ?! Only if IS wins the event I think ?

C-bill mech:
Huntsman P - 6xSSRM6's grouped in 3's (I like left/right grouping for knowing which mouse button to hit first when coming around a corner). Streak's are fan-freakin-tastic at farming damage, and you'll get your 475 damage which is 250 match score even when losing.
MC mech:
Huntsman Pahket:
Two choices depending if you're seeing lots of ECM or Bushwackers
For anti-ECM (the Griffs): 8xSRM6. You'll never fire streaks so might as well just throw 96 point missile volleys that tear legs off. I group 'em 4 and 4 arms and torso instead of left right. Bushwackers aren't so tough when a single volley removes a leg. and you can remove the second leg a few moments later. The important thing to remember is that while you can utterly wreck anything in your path, you need to not do that because you still need 475 damage so kill the first enemy quick to get the mech advantage (maybe the second if it's a good enemy team), and then start dissecting enemy mechs for extra damage farming. Pull a leg off, then the right torso which also gets you the right arm, then the left arm, then the CT or other leg (and remember, right torso dies first).
For random assorted IS mechs (ie. not ECM or Bushwackers): 6xSSRM6's. Basically the exact same build as the P, except move more streaks into your torso. You can run 4xSSRM6 and 4xSSRM4's, but you'll have ammo problems and major heat problems.

For average players it would be tough (and perhaps not enjoyable). 200 match score might be more fair for the majority of casual players.

Faction play was about 50-50.
One game we won, very close (48-41) and came back from losing due to, in large part, me calling targets, I did the most damage on my team, and I got ten kills.
246 points.
This even is pants on head ******** for the clan since we HAVE to do invasion, which takes twenty times longer than scouting, and we still aren't guaranteed enough points for a good solid win.
Just give us back the damned storm crow for scouting. This isn't about it being "easy" it's about it being goddamn reasonable. Which it isn't. It's an absurd time sink for people like me who get ONE day a week off.

You need to do more damage, and more consistent damage to get 250 match score. You were the one that was telling me in game today your hellbringer build works really good when I (very nicely) offered a suggestion on how to improve it. Should be able to get 250 match score no problem, but then you did tell me that you were happy only doing 1400 damage/match. Don't come complaining when people were very nicely giving you pointers on how to play better and achieve these goals (and that doesn't mean you're bad, just that almost everyone can improve on something, including myself)
