Does anyone know, or have any guess/idea, when the 2018 loyalty mech eligibility window starts?

If I now buy mech packs from 30% discount, will they be counted towards 2018 loyalty mechs?

When 2017 eligibility ends, that's when 2018 begins.

Same as when 2016 ended, 2017 began.

So to answer your question: Buy it while it's cheap.

Really nice deal on the original clan package.. 168 for the full package that means 8 c-bill booster mechs. If i had the cash i just might of grabbed it.



But the best deal is the origins package, 24 colors, 4 c-bill booster mechs, banked premium time, and 56 bucks which should give you next years top tier clan reward. This is very tempting! But damn i needed a new mouse so that took my cash this year. Bah!

EDIT: Gosh all the Collection packs are of delicious value... Resistance 1 and 2, Clans 1, 2, 3. The more expensive it is the more you save, with the biggest savings being the Masakari Collection @ $168 with the other 4 Collections at $56.

Another thing though, if the 2018 Loyalty reward requirements are the same as 2017's, then buying a Collection at $56 is a pretty low price point to qualify for the top tier reward.

heh, the funny part, or sad part depending on how you look at it.. I bought Wave III and Resistance II last year in the end of sept/early oct for loyalty. I figured well they were never on sale before, so why not.. 1 month later they all went on sale for the first time on BF. The up side was, i got last years top loyalty which was the summoners and the ECM stalker, both mechs i really love. The down side i missed out on the sale


But seeing they have been doing loyalty the same way, only adding the addition of store hero purchases id have to think next year would be the same. So yea 56 for top Tier is a very good deal all things considered. The added colors and premium time really make those select packs stand out IMO

Off-topic, but if you bought the $99.95 MC pack and got 32500 MC, and bought premium time at the current Cyber Monday 50% off, buying a 360 day PT pack at 12000MC will compound to a 61.5% discount @ $36.90 from the original 24000MC/$99.95.

This translates to 10c a day.

you could buy multiple packs but if they are standard packs they might not
qualify

Great advice on the origins pack. I picked one up. For that price you are getting 4 cbill variants, attractive to me. Orion IIc very fun mech.

Yea, those are nice mechs too! Don't forget to go into the store page and pick up One of each faction camo.. that way you get all 4 faction camo's for each mech, and you get 24 colors too! BTW, if you are going to activate premium do so from the forum account page verse in game to do one month at a time. (not saying you don't know this, but for others that may not)

PRO TIP on the PT activation there! I didn't know about that... thank you so much! So if I have 60 days banked, activating in game will turn on all 60 and doing it on the website will allow 30 day chunks?

What's this about the faction camo? I don't quite understand the store saying pick 4 faction colours. After buying the mechs we have to go ingame to do something?

i wish we could buy just the hero mechs for $

i dont want to buy 3 variants just to get the hero

they really need to change the pricing structure now that you no longer need 3 of each mech to level up

12.75 per hero mech and you get the bonus varna s and the swag. Hero mechs usually run 15++. It's a hell of a deal and the mechs are fun.

You can you use the in game store with MC. Certain packs there are +30% c-bill booster mechs you can't get. But i suppose that is one of the reasons to buy the package right?

Yup, that is exactly how the premium works, I personally think they should change it cause it's confusing. But yes, Click on profile at the top of the page, and then you will see your account details. It shows your banked time, if you click on it there you can do.


I honestly forget exactly how adding the camo works. But yes after you buy the package. (scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see the camo. https://mwomercs.com/origins Maybe ask in the new player forums and someone knows, or recently did it and can give you more exact info. But again click on profile, then the "Content" tab and that is where it is listed after you claim it. It might be where you claim it, Or you claim it when you buy the pack. It's been well over a year now so i don't really recall.

When you do find out where you claim them though, Just make sure you only click each one once. There is some sorta warning when you do it too saying CS can't help you if you screw it up. So just go in order and be careful Again this is done all through the website, and not in game. It might take an hour for it to get added to your account too. The camo only works on those 4 mechs, but colors can be used on any mech

Some of the heroes are available ala carte, I suppose the rest will be made available in time. Those that are available ala carte, are also on sale right now.

In reality tho, isn't it the same thing that you bought MC with bonus MC during the BF sale, then buy the Heroes at 50% off using MC that you bought earlier, giving you a compounded discount? This would be better than any 30% off Hero sale.

Those standalone Hero 'mechs are for 'mechs that already have a web store pack but no Hero yet. The other Hero 'mechs from packs will (likely) never be sold separately in the web store, only in game for MC.

The multi-mech packs pre-date the introduction of decals, so they do not include any.
