Just remember - move fast, hit hard and don't get sneezed on.

Also, tho it's tempting to use all 4 energy points on the arms, only using two makes your arm hitboxes more survivable.
With the hero (pictured) you can run a XL280, gauss rifle and two medium lasers with decent ammo and some jjs.
If you have the ACW-1 Battlemech, the most fun to run IMO, you can run a large variety of missile builds. I'd recommend against using missile points in the arms tho, again makes your arms easy targets. So 7 out of the 9 missile points are again in my opinion the most viable for use for builds like 7 srrm 4s with 5.5 tons of ammo, DHS or two and an XL300. Personally enjoy running it with 2 SRM2+A in the arms and 3 SRM6+A in the ST/CT. 44 accurate alpha, with speed and ~5 tons of ammo. To me it's mostly necessary to run SRMs Clan side with artemis otherwise standard C-Srms spray damage pretty terribly. C-Artemis is just a hair more accurate than IS-non artemis with longer cooldown.

Back to the Hero. You can get really ballsy and run a LBX20 and some small lasers as well. sans the JJs tho.

Further, the hero despite what it can potentially carry is over all meh. Takes hits like a ballerina.
Arctic Wolf chassis in general. Can be fun tho, Just don't expect to win in a 1v1 against other lights and mediums unless you are legging or have the ECM variant (makes you less priority)

Hero: 1 Gauß,4erml the engine that let you go 81kph (lightest tonnage mech that can run it)
P: 5erml,1hll you can try 4erml, 2hll (insanely hot but ******* brutal) or 6mpl
Mixed Omni: ecm, jump jets and p arms is fun with 2hll,2erml or 2 erppc
(dont have the reinforcement one and the omnis are somewhat slow for missile builds imho)

sure you can run that, but 81kph is super slow for that mech.

It is good enuf to keep up with anything its ment to support. Same movement profile like huntsmen/nova.

ATM is my suggestion. This mech is made for ATM 9s and some heavy lasers. Love it. Fast enough to stay in ATM sweet spot range and if you skill right, can really rip mechs apart if you can position well.

except its very fragile compared to those mechs, and doesnt have the heat capacity to maintain that level of fire. But sure. Better off dropping two of those lasers and having more speed and jjs.

Different philosophies. (12 dhs for 4erml are sufficient)
1 gauss and 2erml is not unique. You can do it on a kitfox, adder, cougar, sadcat its nothing special.

Sure, unique I'll give you that. But how often do you actually get to fire? Goes back to being slow and if caught out, in a 40 tonner with low durability

Just built it in mech-lab. can run a xl225 gauss 4 er med with 3 tons of ammo and 2 jjs. Better heat efficiency with that 9th internal. Could be do-able I suppose. Could even drop the jjs for another DHS for 1.34 heat efficiency and or take the ammo down to 2.5 tons for 1 jj. With the gauss being factored into the over-all heat cap, 1.34 is still pretty hot for long cooldown er-meds.

even then I feel 91.1kph on this is asking for trouble.

ACW-1, 4x SRM-6s with artemis in the torso mounts, 4 tons of ammo.XL 280, 13 DHS. You could drop some DHS/strip armor off the arms to fit in a XL 300 if you prefer that.

Putting missiles in the arms is a horrible idea because they have massive convegence issues and are easy to shoot off. You are not tanky enough to run and stay within 50m range vs IS pulse lasers/PPFLD for normal SRMs either so you need artemis. Sadly, not as good as the ASN which badly needs to be nerfed.

BLOOD KIT

I run that same build on my Invasion Adder, although it does it better on the ADR-B. This is like a mini Gray Death though.

thanks everyone

I love the Blood Kit (stupid name) because I can have fun in the Mech lab with it

plus look at those hi mounts Posted Image

it would need armor buffs to get up there with the Assassin's (I never want PGI to nerf)

I love the gun recoil animation of the LBX10
also I am getting ready to try C-XL 295

I need a load out for the Artic Wolf-P

this is the all lasers ACW but with 2 Missiles hard points
I am struggling the most with this Mech

I just got my butt handed to me by an Wolfhound

I tend to be the last Mech dead in a boat load of matches
basically some jack hole that has been hiding all match not helping his team shows up
from nowhere and kills me

I am still getting skills for this Mech so I was trying to keep the Omni pod bonus but I am open
to suggestions

this what I have now
