Hi,

I would like to take part in the Rubellite Oasis challenge. I have completed the two objectives and have the green ticks. Trouble is, and this is where it is going to get embarrassing, I can't find a button or pull-down to get into the challenge. It doesn't start automatically as I am playing quickPlay all the time.

Can someone help the idiot out please?

Click the "E" icon at the bottom, just slightly off-center on the left.

You can redeem the rewards from there, by clicking the unlocked icon.

It starts automatically whenever you get Rubellite in Quick Play.

Or just go to MWO home page and click announcement link for the event. They will include a link to the challenge page upon logging in, where u can track and redeem accordingly too. Much faster than checking the stupid event portion in-game due to the 'loading' for a good 5-10s each time one clicks it. Event page seems to update real time nowadays,way better than the 1 hr delay in events half a year ago

I have completed the objectives:
Complete 10 Matches on Rubellite Oasis (QP Any mode) 10 / 10
and

Achieve 5 Victories on Rubellite Oasis (QP Any mode) 5 / 5

I hit these parameters before ever knowing about the challenge. Am I being stupid because I had fulfilled the challenge before even starting it? All I had to do was redeem my reward? Which I have done.

My preconceived idea was that it was an ongoing play for 8 or 9 days and that rewards were available throughout this period. I am yet to see this behavior so maybe I answered my own question. . .

I got it. A "challenge" is just a list of objectives. You do the associated matches for the challenge and MWO keeps score against the list for you. Simples . . . why was I being so dumb? Well, it might be because the basics are not explained anywhere. Well, that is going to be my excuse.

Well done TransitTrucker

The lower tiers of the fp event aren't too difficult, especially if you choose scouting. I'm not a particularly good player and I managed to pick up 100MC, 6,000,000 c-bills, Steiner warhorn, stained glass and hologram items in a couple of hours.

I am trying my very best to get the 15x 250fp reward. I'm at 4/15 right now. It's tough, hope I can get there in time.

Don't worry! Just bring viable builds and play aggressive with the maneuvers and you'll get it. We believe in ya mate
