I'm looking at buying new 'Mech(s) using some combination of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Im thinking 30usd is my limit, and with all the options I want to know, what will get me the best bang for my buck. For example:

Using the cyber monday sales, I could buy a Huntsman or Marauder IIC pack, which gives me a hero chassis (though the Huntsman's hero quirks seem lacklustre) onto which I can bolt the other pods whilst retaining the CBill bonus. This bit is important (and please correct my assumption if it is wrong!) as theoretically I would make a ton of cash with the combined premium time to buy any other 'Mechs I want.

I could also choose to just buy MC using the almost finished black friday sale, about 8k worth with 30usd. With that I could buy the Marauder IIC AND Huntsman heroes, but I'd be stuck with those pods for a while, and suffer a slower CBill gain unless I purchased premium time with the remaining MC. I was also considering the Roughneck hero.

So, those are my two considerations so far, is one better than the other? Or perhaps I have got this all wrong, and you fine folk have some even smarter suggestions. Time's ticking, and your help would be greatly appreciated.

To clarify - I am considering purchasing one or more of the following hero 'Mechs: Huntsman, Marauder IIC, Roughneck. However, the method of acquisition is what I'm deliberating over. If I go with the black friday MC and hero discount, I could get two plus some premium time. However if I went with cyber monday, I could get one of them but also a ton of variants. Which would be better?

MAD IIC and Huntsmen heroes are actually excellent. Will more than pay for themselves.

Oh yes they certainly seem to be. Perhaps I should clarify - I do plan on getting one or both of them, but I'm wondering about what the best method of acquisition is. Via black friday I could get both heroes, but no other variants. With cyber monday, I could get one hero but many variants along with it.

You're not buying the Pahket for quirks. You're buying it to run 8xCSRM6's and 96 point alphas and ZOMG DAMAGE!

I decided to get the Marauder IIC and Huntsman heroes with MC, along with a month of premium time. This way I can change things up a bit if I get bored of one or the other, instead of being forced to like or lump my singular potential 'Mech pack purchase.

Pakhet is a great choice. Scorch is good, but there are a lot of similar options (albeit only 1 for C-Bills and only next year).

I would recommend doing the regular MAD IIC too, with all the E hardpoints.

Several Huntsmen isn't bad either. Laservomit, missiles, even 2xlb10x, 3ersml. A lot of good, fun builds.

Pahket and Scorch are god-tier without quirks, which speaks volumes to their effectiveness.
