Last night, it took almost 10 minutes to simply find a Scouting map and up to 10 mimutes to find a team to play: two of the several matches we attempted defaulted to a win with no enemy team available?

Right now, about 2PM CST, longer wait times than last night.

If we can't find 8 players for Scouting, our population must be at an all time low........Is this normal?

Is this because there isn't an event driving people into Scouting? Ideas? Your experiences.

Because most people don't play Scouting when there is no event to encourage them to do so. The vast majority of the population plays solo and group QP, where tonnage limits are either nonexistant or less defined.

Careers? Work? Family? Sleep(pshh who need sleep)
Its a work day...and i'm pretty sure most of MWO's audience is based out of the US.

Also, scouting was almost instant over the weekend.

Yeah, I'd blame the event more than anything. Scouting usually has high waiting times unless there's a reason to do it or it's prime gaming time (Friday night or something). I imagine even the regular scouts are kinda burned out right now. It was a *ton* of hours to end up with a tie.

Again.
