Why did you delete this Video? I was actually looking forward to seeing more animations come off of your desk! It would have been great to see more MechWarrior-series Animation Videos!

Black Plasma Studios received a Cease and Desist order from TOPPs and was forced to remove the trailer and stop working on the animated series. https://twitter.com/...060982187921408

I am a bit surprised that this "official" announcement promoting the series has not also been removed under the circumstances.

Given its back up - albeit renamed slightly - - it appears that Topps objected to use of BattleTech name on it and they felt that this infringed upon their rights which involve any BattleTech animated series. See how it practically screams its MechWarrior Online so its trying to skate by under the digital rights that PGI get via Microsoft.

And being fan-made or not is a meaningless distinction, it doesn't have to make money to infringe or for a copyright holder to desire to stop it, they could feel it damages its brand, could impact any attempt by them to get their own animated series up or even just because.
