Keep in mind you get ST and CT armor perks as well.

Basically what this build strives to achieve is area dominance via trying to emulate the 50-bajillion UACs the direwhale can mount. Only a bit faster at 53 clicks and a bit more agile.

Since all 3 of your weapons are torso mounted you are also able to take advantage of "peeking" to a certain degree; no need to worry about your arm weapons hitting low ground objects either!

Given that the Krab has a huge CT that people will always aim for 99.9999% of the time dropping some armor in your arms will not make a huge difference to your survival odds either; in fact since RAC5s require ample facetime you could say this is intended to "take advantage" of the given strengths of the Krab itself. Again, since people will always be aiming for your CT and trying to twist a 100ton mech is rather slow to do might as well just play the proverbial game of chicken and see who blinks first: whatever high-alpha build they can throw at you or your twin RAC5s and MRM40.

However, this mech runs hot very fast. After the first initial unload you'll be lucky to drop below 60% heat the rest of the match. Also need to keep an eye on your RAC5s so they don't jam up.

You are slow, you run hot you jam your weapons...you are a sitting duck......or rather thanksgiving turkey without hope of beeing pardoned.
And you are the effin biggest target for Lurmnoobs on the field...hell you can't miss that thing even without target lock for your favorit leeching tool.
Rather run it Snova style with 6 LLasers and burn them till you go boom yourself when they prepare to kill you.

To the OP I shiver thinking about being hit with twin RAC-5s. King Crabs are nasty customers.
