So guys I wouldn't ask for IK but can we get falls back?
I mean that we already saw Long Tom explosions (and it was great).
And we have eject mechanic in game (faction play only, but it can came to quick one too).
So it is time to return famous MECH FALLS!
Some time ago it was removed because of many reasons. But some of them are gone now.

Unless there's a drastic improvement in net code stability, mechs falling due to collision or massive AC damage are not going to happen.

why? it used to be in the game in beta.
buggy knockdowns were better than no knockdowns at all.
they should readd them because they were fun. just make it harder to knock mechs down because it was too easy before.
if they readd knockdowns they could get rid of legging killing you too. because you shouldnt die if you get legged. just automatically knocked down and you should barely be able to stand back up.

I'm pretty sure Inverse Kinematics would be (or at least should be) a million times easier to implement than knockdowns.
And PGI is unable to implement Inverse Kinematics (which is just sad)

Knockdowns will never come back, because the mortal sin of abusing Paul with them and posting it on YouTube for all eternity. Even though a stability system like Harebrained's game would be wonderful.

Being as simple as a toggle ala the K9's, it's a sad state of affairs this has never happened.
