With the LBX20 at Projectile Spread of 1, taking 1 skill node of LBX Spread brings it to 0.95. But what does that translate to exactly? LBX10/5/2, the spread bonus from that 1 skill node is even more minuscule.

On LB20s it makes it even more deadly point blank, take the Gargles for example with spread quirks in addition to both spread nodes.

Neato, I just posted a video about it in that LBX thread that's ongoing.
In the end there, second to last scene it shows an example of a mech that has both LBX spread quirks. In short getting both nodes, 10% spread reduction, results in having to fire 25% less shots to kill an enemy. So its an approximate boost of 33% damage to the area you want to hit, at least at 270m. I'd absolutely recommend picking up both nodes.

its about a 20% reduction in cone size
so 0.9 spread will have a 20% smaller cone than 1.0 spread
so 0.9 spread will have a 20% smaller cone than 1.0 spread

Anyone with a spread weapon can tell you that you'll take whatever you can to get that circle of damage to shrink. More damage in a smaller space is pretty much the goal.

Also, if you are in a trade war at Frozen city or some other trade map, LB10s at long range make for semi-decent suppression weapons, not great mind you, but enough to scare the average potato back into cover.
