Imo it's DOA. Most people aim center mass, the the offset CT now sits center mass. Soo no XL for you. And in a 40ton mech?
Man you won't be able to mount anything useful or move at a decent click.

Bad robot in my opinion...mostly because it's geo basically defines its lack of survivability. You can do a lot with a survivable mech with lackluster firepower. But not the inverse.


I find the Uziel a fun and challenging mech. It rewards players who use it intelligently. I expect the same will be with the Helly.

I actually doubled down and bought the reinforcements. Might regret it but I see the 8P as being an interesting variant. I'm thinking Lynx/Cheetah hunter. Or maybe Assault bane. The others all have a niche to fill if used in an intelligent fashion. With minor effort you can get 100+ speed and some decent weapon load outs.

Seems like that will be the mech for my christmas holidays....excellent. Looking forward to that variant. Mobile sneaky Lurmer, Murmer. Cant really say whether 2xSRM + pulse will make this a fast brawler though, torso twist is in the range of a yen lo wang, though...decent.

edit2: 10% agility over the over variants....an "ok buff" I guess.

So does the bay door provide a damage reduction while it is closed? Might just stuff a few RL’s in there and rely on the arms/RT mounts.
