1. I enjoy playing the Roughneck.
2. I think it's a nice reward for Alex that he got to add a design to canon.
3. I would be fine if Alex once again got to add another design to canon.
4. It's unlikely the new Mech will be a PGI original because sales of the Roughneck were poor.

The head we're seeing looks a lot like a Stinger head but... those missile pods tho... man I really don't know...

I can't seem to find it right now but I saw an artistic variation of the Howler once that featured two of the launchers in one shoulder and one in the other. It actually looked quite good. I wish I could find it.

Yeah, it's a nice revision of the mech, but I doubt thats what it is. If it was, I'd pretty much buy it instantly.

The fact that it is the fact is so disheartening and depressing.

Only this game is done right is really artwork, particularly Alex and 3D modeling team. The fact that people are unwilling to recognize his dedication is shameful if you ask me.

I don't know how you guys can dislike the Howler. I for one, would love to see it appear in MWO

The Mech Con mech doesn't look anything like the Howler though, so is probably something else.

My guess is either Phoenix Hawk IIC with shoulder missile pods similar to the IS PH hero. Or a Templar with missile hardpoints in the shoulder crests.

Someone on reddit did bring up something interesting though: The Deimos.

Don't think this is right either - The Deimos has triple UAC/2s on each arm, and that does not match up with the PGI image. But its the closest thing I've seen. Still think its an original.
