What you guys think about this build? Not really sure on the ER vs Med lasers but they will be used mostly for peeking, and if im using arms ill be face to face but let me know if you all see any tweaks

Take the laser ams off. You will be hotter then the sun. Bad. bad idea.

Use this build it has more heatsinks and its good.

Personal preference- shift a little more firepower up to the shoulder and just keep either one ML/ERML or a pair of smalls in the arms for UAV popping. The Hunchback is kinda an "all your eggs in one basket" sort of 'Mech already; you might as well go all in and deadside it. Just watch the alphas if (when) your LT goes pop.

This is what I have on my 4P right now.

You could also go for an ERLL sniper. High mounts with a strong side bias (allowing both ridge and corner peeking) and a tight hardpoint cluster make that a good build on the Hunch. The only other IS medium that can run a tight high-mounted ERLL cluster like that is the SHD-2K, but the quirks (-10% beam duration, -5% energy heatgen, -5% energy cooldown) on the HBK-4P make it slightly better for the build.

And... yeah, like Bruno said, LAMS is a no-no on energy builds. Because of the physical investment required, I wouldn't take IS LAMS on any build. The same tonnage and slots get you a standard AMS and one ton of ammo, which is plenty to last most rounds and won't hinder your build (apart from reducing your DHS count)... but LAMS has a truly stupid amount of heatgen, and even one of them will make it downright dangerous to run a pure energy 'Mech. It would absolutely get you killed, either from the LAMS spiking you to overheat when under heavy fire, or by preventing you from safely firing your weapons when you need them.

I run all MPLs and a regular AMS with all the armor and heatsinks I can stuff into it.

All on the standard 200 engine because i've been lazy and not bothered to upgrade to an LFE.

6 MPL, STD 275
6 MPL, Light 275
6 LPPC, STD 255 (if they ever raise the LPPC GH limit to 6 *AND* fix the weapon geometry)

This guy knows how to make loadouts that assist the team.

FYI: Not being snarky. Most of my loadouts have a UAV popping laser, because it seems that I’m the only one doing it most games.
