Not often, but about every other week or so I get an issue during quickplay/group play (And even on the testing grounds, to a lesser extent), where my ping seems okay but I get choppy feedback. Half second stutters, sluggish mouse control, and even missed input where I click to fire but nothing happens.

The problem persists across a few games, sometimes I have to log off and wait for a few hours and log back on.

It is annoying as heck and makes the game unplayable. Anybody else have similar issues? I am not sure if it is my ISP (browser and video like youtube and netflix still seem to work fine) or an MWO server issue.

Happens when I am running either teamspeak, or discord, or standard VOIP.

Been happening here, too. Including warping. However, I suspect, for me, it is due to recent maintenance by my ISP. We had a node die, recently, and the replacement seems to be significantly less stable. What I am experiencing feels a lot like packet loss or intermittently dropped connections. I get it across multiple games. :\

Cool. I hope it will be a temporary ISP thing for me as well then. MWO is the only online game I am playing at the moment, so I can't compare with others.

If your ping is okay, what about FPS? Press f9 to display the ingame FPS counter.

Yeah, you need to track your FPS, and maybe your ping. Maybe set up a ping -a -t to the MWO servers, pipe it to a file and check the contents after stutters. Or, run WINMTR or a similar ping program and track your ping via an extended tracert (explained in the oceanic server thread, snipped below):

Spoiler

Could be your OS too - something hogging resources every now and again. I had similar issues and tracked mine to a memory leak in a driver.

Heat issues on your CPU can cause this too.

Thanks for the responses guys. Issue seems to have gone away for now, but will attempt the troubleshooting methods suggested next time it comes up.
