That would depend on the opposing mech Classes. They say the mechs will be ranked by combat effectiveness and not just weight so I don't have enough info on this. Start practicing because the current Tier system will have no bearing on what it takes to win a duel. I think your Solaris stats will be the stats you are ranked with by other players.

Another concern I have for Solaris is whether or not they're going to base their "divisions" off of mech performance in normal modes, FW, or just Solaris itself. Because PGI once said (I think) that they plan to add the divisions to the matchmaker for other applicable modes.

Problem is that all of them have their own different conditions that affect which mechs and builds get chosen. Most importantly, a long-range mech with high mounts will excel in the pug and premade queues, but in a straight 1v1 it's going to get facerolled by a splat brawler since there's no focus fire from multiple mechs to prevent the enemy from advancing.

Dual LB20X Hunchback IIC/Victor/Warhammer/Catapault K2. Maybe mixing is up with some Dual UAC20 K2/Warhammer. 8 SRM6 Phaket is gonna be hilarious. 12 ERSML + 4MGs Nova is gonna be good too. Oxide/Hugin/Jenner IIC. Arctic Cheetah. MRM Wolverine/Uziel/Roughneck.

Probabaly the mech that's going to perform the best out of anything else though will be the MRM120 Cyclops.
