Homestly I had to blink a couple of times and reread the post. Are they seriously giving away hero 'Mechs for logging in for a match on a single day? And over 1000 MC as well? Man, am I gald I opted not to buy the Roughneck hero during the Black Friday sales! I am going to have to mark the date on my calendar to ensure I don't miss it. Once again, did I read that event info correctly? If so, thanks fellas!

The heroes we're getting for free are NOT the same heroes that are currently available for purchase. The free heroes have inferior loadouts to compensate for being free.

I'll probably log in for the MC (not that I ever spend it), but at least I'll have four mechs to sell

Yah, they're... weird. The Roughneck is kind of ok, but far from optimal. If it was a C-Bill variant, I doubt anyone would use it, baring monster quirks.

The Spider is borderline useless until you can buy C-Bill pods.
