These maps have zero relevance on indication of timeline...

Just saying...

There was that redacted letter Russ tweeted a few months ago that lore buffs figured might point to WoB mechs. I'm all for even more new tech. Especially the compact/XL gyro and small cockpit that open up even more build options for existing mechs.

Faction warfare where campaign or season starts in 3025. Tech development is based off of research facilities, supply from factories, units placed and moved on the map. Rank means something. Each factions leaders decide how the tech is moved forward. If you are using machines that fits the tech developed for mass production, you get bonuses to your matches. If you are using advanced tech outside of production, you don't get any bonuses.
Player based missions of all types based on ranks. Auto generated missions as well. Able to unlock certain missions types based on what is happening on planet.

Time line ticks on. Campaign is over if certain objectives are reached or the end of the time line is reached.

Start again.

They went the easy route and the game mode is dead. There are games that have been around for 15 years with extensive supply and command features which sport a healthy enough population to keep the game running. Very sad to see mwo like this.
