I’m a “returning newcomer” to the game and was at first a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of the Lore and Game mechanics, but the game is really beautiful and immersefull – if you push up the learning curve it is a really rewarding and satisfactory experience.
I had a really hard time aiming while zoomed and realized that actually the mouse sensitivity for the default (1st or 3rd person) perspective is the same as for even the advanced zoom – meaning you have to set your sensitivity at the lowest possible setting (and need a desk the size of Continental Europe) to be able to competitively rotate your view in 1st or 3dr person.
For me it looks as a significant oversight on the side of the Devs OR deliberate (and totally unnecessary) complication to make the game more “HardCore”… ?
I think the obvious solution would be to at least refactor the sensitivity per zoom level or (even better) add slider(s) in the game settings so players can adjust personally (keep it as-is for the veterans too...?).
I really believe such (minor IMO) rework would do miracles for new players and for keeping these new players (maybe even converting them to subscribing players).
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
