Is it me or did the Atlas animation become even worse after the fix, was running around in testing ground and on slopes the skip delay seems to be even longer now, they also have not seem to fix the in cockpit jerk ? Any one else notice this yet ?

No idea what you are talking about. Won't be running an Atlas again until it has some hope of competing with anything.

I just tried it in the Testing Grounds, and the walking animation seems really good.

Something does feel really... off about the cockpit shake and noises. But that could just be because the Atlas has been so jacked up for so long that it's just weird that its fixed.

The third person animations seem fine, in-cockpit view is still borked.

While moving at full speed it basically goes like this "step>step>gliiiiiide>step>step>gliiiiiide"

I played 20 or so thousand matches in the Atlas and never noticed a problem before the "fix". I wonder, after watching your video, if this has hit state rewind implications.

I think the amount of effort put into it contrasts nicely with the amount of effort that went into addressing the bug. =3

(but it wasn't me, it was this guy that made the clip)

Nah, you wouldn't notice it if you are the one piloting it.

And I dunno about the HSR implications. Didn't the whole mech used to skip a bit, instead of just the leg animation? I know the Urbie still has that problem (quantum teleportation every other stride)

It's just so happy to be piloted again, look at that cute little skip.
This would irritate me more if the Atlas' I wanted to use were any good.

Isn't this the third time they've tried and abysmally failed at adressing this bug? WTF is so hard about this?

Tried and tested my Atla((i?)ses?)) animation looks fine when I walk on a flat surface, as soon as I hit a a slope the animations freak out.
