Greetings All,
I am starting to play with the Auxiliary section of the skills, added two slots and am trying 'coolant reserve', witch allows '1 additional cool shot to be brought into a match. OK fine, in the consumables area my cool shot now says 1/2, I can't add another CS to make it 2/2, tried it in a match and there was only 1 line ( to the right of map), where when you had 9 and 18 CS way back when you had 2 lines, but only if you had one of each. How do I add the second shot? How do I tell what the 'cool down time' is before I can use another one? How do I work this silly thing?
This is very confusing....

Each mech has a limited number of slots.

Did you fill the slot with something else?

Up to 5 slots total.
4 always start locked.

Under Auxiliary the first unlock is a second slot.
There's also additional slots to unlock.

Did you occupy your second slot with something else?
Did you open any more slots?

For the rest...
You can use them both within a fraction of a second of each other. But not much point unless you have a shitload of heatsinks and over 100% heat.

If you have the second coolshot on you will have two lines as before.

Thank you for your reply Kon, you were very helpful! I have tested them and both lines disappear after I use the first one and the second line comes back after about 10 secs. There is a -25% cool down for the second one to get it online faster. I am wondering, isn't the point to use them *before* you reach 100% and shut down? Are they more effective (not counting the % add on from the skill tree) with more heat sinks? Or are you saying that they should be used after you override and go over 100%?

Yeah, it used to be different before the skill tree.

Override before that happens. Use the cool shot if you go over or need to bring your heat back in line during a prolonged brawl.

Just before you hit 100, to avoid structure damage
