It is a bit illogical that the final matches were on the ninth of December and the season is still running until the end of the year.

I find this kind of unfair to the teams that played in the semis. Shouldn’t prizing be based off of performance in the semis rather than the leaderboard? The bracket was enough to determine which teams went into top 3 so teams that always that played in the semis should get prizing based off the semis. Example: a team gets 12th on the leaderboard but placed 4th in the semis. In my opinion, they should get prizing for 4th place. The leaderboard benefits those that can queue more often and not actual performance against each other. Why are teams that placed lower allowed to climb up the ladder after the finals of this board are already finished.

I think it would be quite interesting to know, at least for the teams that finished 12-8. place, if there is still a chance to drop out of top 12 on the leaderboard and "lose" the prices, or are the placings set according to the results of the semis?

standings for prizes from 13th - 35th are not locked yet. Those lock at the end of the year in December.

I know at least a few teams have been constantly visiting the Comp leaderboard tab to see if the leaderboard has closed yet. Some certainty over the cut-off would go a long way to reduce stress levels.
