I'm pretty amazed at how well the Cataphract is doing in the poll, since it was a Capellan "FrankenMech".

Yeah, I think the Cataphract will be popular after launch with the dearth of hard hitting heavie's at the moment.

I'm putting a cote down for Cataphract, but the Commando is a close second.

The Raven is my favorite , because of the Radar and other gizmos , and I can tweak it a little to fit my combat style unlike some other light mechs . Plus I always am the scout in any game I play . ( With the expection of , Skyrim , Fallout and DDO ) . If I was to pick my second favorite it would have to be the HunchBack .

Raven followed by spider and commando. I'm simply thrilled to know by beloved mini mechs will be of more use than ever before.



Clan cougar hellion and solitaire will have to wait a long while. But I'm cool with it.

Yeah, I noted that trend. A pity, because on the old designs, there were actually many better designed heavy mechs than assault mechs. Of course the Unseen dilemma did strip outr some of the most competitive designs (Warhammer, T-Bolt, Crusader and Marauder in particular could take on most assaults)

True, whether they are Alex's own design, or his take on the reseen, plus obvious mechs like the Orion, I'm sure we'll end up with several 70 and 75 tonners in the not too distant future.

Im really excited for the Hunchback, seems like the best all around choice, plus it looks awesome... I was going to go atlas... but slow mech is too slow

Picked Catapult. I can't help but love mechs with "ears".

Light: Raven. ECM is EC-AWESOME.

Medium: Hunchback.

Assault: Atlas. My 2nd favorite assault ever (Fafnir's aren't around yet).

I voted Centurion. Really like the new look of it. All of the new art is totally awesome imo and a breath of fresh air for the franchise. Honorable mention to the Stalker, love the new art thanks to the changes to the legs.

all around I gotta give Alex mad props.

I might nit pick a feature or two (seems like the units with hands tend to have somewhat dainty little fists, and sometimes I wish he would exaggerate the feet a little for stability.... some of them got tiny toes, lol!)
but that is jsut me be over critical. For pure looks, the Awesome, Hunchback, Centurion and Spider I think take the cake.

Centurion, because it's a well-rounded Mech with plenty of armour and just looks just plain badass. I crave a miniature of this bad boy for my TT game!

Spider, because it's very nearly a low-flying Aerospace Fighter
And Cataphract, because it's got some excellent hardware, jump jets, and is not nearly as ugly as the TT model

As much as i love the awesome, I am game for the stalker, because I have not seen that mech since Mechwarrior 2:mercenaries.

I'm a long running catapult fan, and I love the redesign... but I voted 'phract also. It was sooo out of left field.
And given the footage, I think we can reasonably expect it to seriously pwn.

Really liking the redesign of the Cataphract from the original artwork. Plus its the first time I've seen it in a MW title, looking forward to having a go with it.
