Cougar Desperately Needs Agility

Just took it into academy to mess around, and decided to switched out to the Jester. Good lord, night and day as that thing turns on a dime. Since when should a 65 ton mech easily outpace one 30 tons lighter that coincidentally goes faster (marginally albeit)?
slow speed aside, this is by and far the most sluggish light in the game. At 35 tons it should not feel like a Night Gyr (not even gonna start on that) Fix it PGI pls.

When I'm playing my Cougar, I adapted to all of that...if I want something more agile, I'll get my Adder. Both of them my favorite light mechs in MWO.
And that reference to the Night Gyr...well it is a 35t Night Gyr basically

because we asked PGI to desync agility from engines and give mechs consistent agility based on their tonnage
instead PGI did the exact opposite. desync agility from engines and gave mechs inconsistent agility based on their tonnage.
and they used it as a way to nerf clan mechs that should rightfully be agile (timberwolf)

and why is the executioner like three times more agile than the direwhale when theyre only 5 tons different in weight?
i mean I could understand the executioner being somewhat more agile... but three times more agile? it makes no sense.

I say mech agility should be within 10 tons (in either direction) of the average agility of mech in their weight bracket(so think 20 tons, 25 tons, ect.). So, a Linebacker would, at most, be as agile as a 55 tonner.

yep have consistent baseline agility for all tonnages, but some mechs might get shifted one or two columns in either direction. that would make sense.
an executioner would be as agile as an 85 tonner. a summoner would be as agile as a 60 tonner. a linebacker as agile as a 55 tonner. etc... you wouldnt have assaults as agile as mediums or heavies as agile as lights then.
and in the other direction, mechs like night gyr would have the agility of an 85 tonner, instead of a 95-100 tonner, which is stupid. Its a 75 ton mech shouldnt move like its 95-100 tons. who came up with that, thats terrible.
but that means the cougar could have the agility of a 25 ton mech. it still wont save the cougar though. the cougar needs structure/armor quirks too. if it cant have the speed of a light, it at least needs armor more like a medium.

It also has in general a large front profile. Problem here is, that the lenght (or depth) is very low. The back looks like cut off. In result of volumetric scaling, this leads to a relative huge and easy to hit profile.
