Some of the older mechs share the same models for their weapons, especially the ballistics.

See there, the Annihilator has a different model for each ballistic, smaller or larger depending on the weapon. However, the Atlas and other mechs apparently don't have models for the new tech.

Also, Atlas AC20 model has like a cap on it on something, it's ugly

Nope. You only get to find out in patch notes.

Ok so do they update only 1 mech at a time or multiple mechs per patch? Also is there an ETA on the next patch?

However many they feel like doing, we never know until patch notes. Next patch is in Jan.

TDR-5S gauss rifle to that ballistics slot (super tiny barrel).
DRG-5N triple UAC2, middle barrel is totally different from upper and lower.

Patches are once a month and the mech are being done in batches, so a few at a time.
