Well, since you're asking about the SNV, the choice comes down to whether you like the pew pew or the splat, and there's only one Splatnova: the SNV-A.
You can find a laser build you like and replicate it on basically all the SNV chassis, so it comes down to where you want your guns. Personally, I don't like having all my weapons in my arms, so I use the SNV-B and the SNV-3. Since a clan ERLL fits in a clan head slot, I run an ERLL boat build on the SNV-3, and I run LPLs on the B.
